Part 3 - or UGH why do we have dogs?

Yes you read that correctly.  Your eyes do not deceive you, there is a part 3 to the apparent saga of my dogs running away.  This time I'll keep it short. 

Today began with Gromit our Westie escaping the yard again Houdini-style with gates shut and suspect areas boarded up. This led to me dragging my 2 sick children, lunch and nap-less for a trip to Animal Service to bail our dog out of puppy jail, at a cost of $40 + $31 for license (to be reimbursed when they receive notice that I paid it online this week already)  and $100 in fines as this was his 2nd offence.  

Interestingly enough, when I tried to pay the NSF fees from the previous escapade, they had no records of my cheque bouncing even though it was 20 days ago, and refused to take a payment for that.  Lets hope this little clerical error remains in my favor.  

All I have to say is SIGH.
