We had promised Thyra that for her birthday she could pick a friend, and we would take them to West Edmonton Mall for a mini shopping spree and day of fun.
Luckily she chose her cousin Shiloh, which meant I had a friend for the trip too, because Shiloh's mom, Rohini, agreed to join us.
It took a long time to coordinate our schedules... but we finally made the trip down, leaving all the boys behind but one.... Kashton. (After all, the littlest Hughes, India needed a little company too!) We timed our trip just perfectly I'd say, as Anthropologie (only my favorite store in the entire world), had just opened, as did Triple Flip, while we were there.
We girls had a fabulous time, over-nighting in the Fantasyland Hotel and shopping to our hearts content.
As for the hubbies and children left behind? Well it suffices to say a more appropriate label would be bachelors and orphans,(if you're picking up what I'm putting down), but they all survived nonetheless.
Can't wait to do it again!
Arriving at the hotel giddy and excited.
Cousins and their siblings first thing in the morning
Galaxyland awaits!
Little babies tuckered out by a long day at the mall.
