Cans for Comments post #5 - iphone fun.

I love my iphone.

Last year, my husband got one and decided I needed one too.

I tried to tell him I didn't care about fanzy gizmo's and what not.  Just give me a phone that works, with some simple text messaging functions and I was good to go.

He tried to tell me that I really wanted this phone.  Maybe even needed it.

I gave in and got one.

And of course, it didn't take long before I realized that it was the best thing ever.

I can check the weather, make blogposts, update facebook, take photos and video of my kids.  I can read the bible study, listen to audio books, catch a documentary and check out a new recipe.  I can play tetris in the bathtub, check my email in the car and the list goes on and on.

I have to say though, it took me awhile to figure out that not only was this little piece of technology so useful for entertaining, educating me, but that it was pretty useful for keeping my little munchkins busy too!

There are a ton of toddler apps out there, but I just discovered three of my very fave by Duck Duck Moose.

Kashton's mood changes almost instantly with the first few bars of "Wheels on the Bus", so I was delighted to find an adorable interactive app, that features the whole song.  The best part about it (or worse part perhaps, depending on who's listening), is that you can record your own voice singing!  I even have Kashton and Malachi doing a little back up, "the wipers on the bus go....."  "swish swish swish!".

Awesome fun, and a great way to survive long car rides, dinners out and grocery store lineups.

Yay for kids apps! We use them too. There is one called Tozzle that Hannah likes, and one called Sneezies, although she doesn't really get the point of that one, she still likes playing it. Thanks for the tip, we'll check that one out!
