I know you’ve all seen photos much worse than this, and that everyone is probably tired of hearing about the snow, but for posterity’s sake, this is what the first huge snowstorm of the 09/10 winter looked like when we woke up this past Saturday morning. (Sorry for the grainy photos… they are courtesy of our trusty iphones.)
I tried twice to get to work, the first time resulting in a colossal FAIL, the second time I was suprisingly, and a little disappointingly successful. Gavan shoveled for hours, over and over along with everyone else on the block. How did you all fare?
Me thinks the snow is here to stay.

ok...i'm sick of snow and cold and shoveling already...glad to know we're not the only ones with a huge snow drift in our yard!

To look on the bright side - I enjoy my daily shovel - a great way to stay in shape! HA. Who am I kidding?
